E-invoicing in Tunisia: regulation and TTN compliance
E-invoicing in Tunisia is governed by the Tunisie TradeNet (TTN) platform, which centralises the transmission of invoices in TEIF (Tax and E-Invoicing Format). Companies must issue compliant invoices, electronically signed (XAdES-B) and transmitted via TTN to be considered "up to date".
What is the role of TTN?
Tunisie TradeNet (TTN) is Tunisia's single window for electronic exchanges related to trade and tax. For invoicing, TTN requires the TEIF format (structured XML), electronic signature of invoices and status reporting. An "Up-to-date" invoice is one that is validated, signed and correctly transmitted to TTN.
